Located at the corner of Meridian and Main Street, the new Yotelpad is bringing a new lodging concept to Mammoth Lakes in a perfect location with easy access to The Village Gondola. Yotelpad is a global brand, and this will be its third location in the United States — the others are in Park City, Utah and Miami, Florida.
The projects consists of 156 “pads” (400-500 square foot condos) and 21 “domos” (1,500 square foot townhomes). All pad owners can enroll their pads in the Yotel rental program to have property management fully covered if you go the nightly rental route.
The development will also feature a variety of common area social spaces including a restaurant and bar, a lobby bar, lounges, game rooms, a year-round pool and hot tub, fire pits, a workout room, a steam room, a dog park area, table tennis and bocce ball. The 2.6 acre site is currently mostly empty, so this project will significantly change the look and feel of that prominent intersection.
The YotelPAD concept focuses on efficiency and innovative design. Versatile Italian-made furniture changes form and function so a family of four can easily eat, shower and sleep in comfort, even with the small square footage.
The project will break ground in spring 2020 with completion targeted for the end of 2021. The Mammoth Lakes Planning & Economic Development Commission approved the Yotelpad project’s tract map, use permit and design review on May 15, so the project is moving along nicely.
Yotelpad is a condo-tel property, which means it’s a condominium project that’s operated like a hotel with a lobby, registration/front desk, cleaning services and more. The Pads will start from $300,000 and are available to buy now. The Domos will be priced over $1 million. Information on monthly HOA dues, financing and property management fees (as well as detailed floor plans) are available to registered interested parties.
