Every year I live in Mammoth Lakes, I find new things to love about the area. When I talk to people considering buying homes or second homes in the area, I love sharing my favorite things about living here so they can get a feel for the area and the community. The local tourism department has a great website with info on lodging, activities, shopping, events, restaurants, travel info and more. They also have a robust events calendar. You can also check out a digital copy of the latest Visitor Guide.

Mammoth Mountain’s website offers tons of pertinent information about planning a trip to the ski mountain or the mountain bike park in the summer.

The town’s website offers information about paying taxes/TBID, public meeting agendas, ways to engage in local government, and local parks and recreation programming. You can get information on local utility providers on the site as well.

Mammoth Lakes Recreation is a local non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing recreation, arts, culture and mobility in the Eastern Sierra.
