The Club is offering Founders Memberships to the first 20 individuals who apply for the Platinum tier – Founders will receive a $25,000 discount off the initial deposit. Offering the most coveted way to experience Mammoth, the unprecedented ski and social club offers access to private spaces within the Limelight Hotel and next-level services, some of which members can start enjoying this ski season. Set for completion later this year, the club is exclusive to homeowners at Limelight Residences Mammoth and a limited number of members.
Mammoth Lakes Mountain Club is Mammoth’s newest private, members-only ski and social club. Located within the Limelight Hotel, the Club is a place to unwind, refresh, and connect in a luxuriously comfortable and private setting.

This is a brief description of the membership program at the Mammoth Lakes Mountain Club and is not one of the membership documents governing membership in the Club. Please refer to the actual legal documents for full information.
The Mammoth Lakes Mountain Club is a private, non-equity, social and athletic club created to meet the needs of members and their guests in an active and vibrant, all-inclusive community. The Club’s base area clubhouse and related facilities are designed to provide the utmost in comfort and service. Club programming will focus on members’ passion for outdoor exploration in the amazing mountains and valleys of the Mammoth Lakes environs during all four seasons of the year.
The Club and all associated facilities will be owned by Aspen Skiing Company, located in Aspen, Colorado. A values-driven family owned company since 1987, it is operated by people who share a common appreciation and respect for the pristine environment in which the Club is situated centered on the renewal of Mind, Body, and Spirit. Aspen Skiing Company owns and operates four ski areas in Colorado’s Roaring Fork Valley including: Aspen, Buttermilk, Aspen Highlands, and Snowmass. In addition, the company operates a revered hospitality division featuring the Little Nell, and Limelight Hotel brands.
The Club is offering three categories of membership: Founder, Platinum and Gold.
The Club is limited to a combined total of one hundred eighty seven (187) family memberships in the Founder, Platinum and Gold categories. It is expected that only twenty (20) Founder Memberships will be issued. The Club provides a truly boutique club environment and will be a coveted and special experience.
No. While many of the members join as a result of their friends and associates belonging to the Club, it is not necessary to have a member referral. Simply contact the membership team to have all of your questions answered and to see if membership is right for you and your family.
Yes. Your spouse and unmarried children under the age of 24 all have the same privileges as the primary member
You must pay the refundable membership deposit required for a membership in the category you desire. The membership deposit is refundable at the end of thirty (30) years from joining, or sooner upon resignation and reissuance of the membership or the issuance of a replacement membership. The Club will charge a ten percent (10%) transfer fee in connection with the reissuance of a resigned membership or issuance of a replacement membership, which is payable by the exiting member.
Members are also obligated to pay the annual dues associated with their category of membership. The annual dues for 2026 are as follows: $8,695 for Residential, Founding, and Platinum memberships, and $4,637 for Gold membership. Please note that annual dues are subject to standard increases each year.
When a member wishes to resign their membership from the Club, they simply need to inform the Club in writing of their desire to do so. Once the Club, according to the Membership Plan, reissues the resigned membership or issues a replacement Platinum Membership in the case of a Founder Member, the member leaving Mammoth Lakes Mountain Club will receive their deposit refund as specified in the Membership Plan and the Membership Application and Agreement. Members are obligated to maintain their membership in good standing until their membership is reissued or replaced and will continue to enjoy all of the associated facilities, programming, and services until that occurs.
Yes. Your immediate family (spouse and unmarried children under the age of 24) are considered members as well. Family members (age 16 and up) are welcome to utilize the clubhouse unaccompanied and bring guests utilizing the same guest guidelines that apply to all members.
Each membership that includes parking privileges (Founder and Platinum) is allowed to valet one vehicle at a time, with the necessary parking hang tag, to be displayed at all times.
No. While winter will be a very big part of the Club’s culture, we are a year- round club and encourage members and their guests to make full use of the Club’s facilities, programming and services during all four seasons. We anticipate a brief closure in the spring and fall so our team members can prepare for the coming season. Mammoth Lakes is an outdoor playground year-round.
The Club is only offering family memberships, however, a single person is welcome to acquire a membership in one of the categories being offered.
The Club encourages members to share their club experience with friends and family. Members are provided an annual allotment of 5 complimentary guest passes and pay a fee for guests if more access is required. Members and their dependents (age 16 and up) may bring up to four guests at a time to enjoy all the Club has to offer. A member must always accompany their guests. The same guest may use the Club no more than four separate times per year regardless of their member host.
No. The Mammoth Lakes Mountain Club is a private, members only club and will not allow access to anyone unless they are a member or accompanied by a member, subject to the following provisions. Through a License Agreement, owners of condominium units that are associated with the Limelight Hotel Mammoth will have access to the Club facilities. Also, the Club has certain promotional rights permitting use of the Club facilities by non-members, as detailed in the Membership Plan. Members also have access to the fitness and aquatic facilities at the Limelight Hotel Mammoth. Guests staying at the hotel and the condominium unit owners referenced above have access to these facilities as well.
Yes. Every membership has exclusive use of a private family locker in the property clubhouse. Since we will provide valet service for your skis, boards, and poles (a total of four pairs per membership), lockers are free to accommodate numerous pairs of boots, helmets, goggles, gloves, and accessories. With boot driers (to accommodate four pairs of boots), cubbies, and plenty of hooks for all of your gear, you will be well organized.
Yes. While we don’t have an unlimited supply of guest lockers, we are happy to accommodate your guest’s day locker use on an availability and rental fee basis.
Mammoth Mountain Club is accepting applications December 2024. You are encouraged to schedule a complimentary tour and experience of Snowmass Mountain Club, in Snowmass Colorado for a similar club experience while our Mammoth club is under construction.

According to Google Earth our club is a mere 200 ft to the gondola, which is estimated at under a 3 minutes walk.
Yes, all members will have access to Parallax, private dining restaurant on Mammoth Mountain. Members will also have the
ability to purchase priority lift line privileges, allowing members to load the first available chair or gondola cabin and forego
waiting in the lift line. This option to purchase is not available as a retail item to the general public.
